Do I do custom orders??

Someone recently messaged me and asked me if I do really really custom orders. YES YES YES YES !! I have done many custom designs. Sometimes the customer has a design they want me to fabricate, and sometimes they want me to come up with a specific design and then fabricate it. Either way, any way, YES ! I love custom orders. They drive my creativity!!! Sometimes I get blacksmith block... much like a writer gets writer's block.

The giveaway will run from today, March 25th through Saturday April 2nd midnight EST. This gives you roughly a week to get your entries in and to get other people to enter as well. The winner will be announced Sunday April 3rd sometime in the evening (we have to gather the entries). The drawing will be random. We will give the winner 48 hours to contact us via email with their address---if we don't hear back in that time then we will select a new winner. Please leave a comment for each thing that you do. For example, if you are a follower then leave one comment saying that you follow our blog. Or if you are now liking us on Facebook then leave another comment stating you are now liking us on Facebook. For each entry you should have a separate comment. ONLY U.S. ENTRIES AT THIS TIME

Each of these is worth one entry, so if you do all of the above, then you can get 8 entries into the giveaway and then additional ones for each person that mentions your name. If you have any questions or concerns about the giveaway then please send an email or a message on Facebook and we will get back to you as soon as possible. So now that he has officially made 2 sculptures, I guess it's safe to say he sculpts! lol It's definitely something he is gifted in and he will be doing many more in the future!

Habitat for Humanity's Salvage Art Auction

We put 3 pieces of work in this art auction on Friday and it was a big success. We were so proud to be able to give to such a worthy cause!! Here are pictures of the flyer, his work, and a certificate he won.

The only piece that he can replicate almost exactly - is the cross because it is the only thing we have ample supplies for. It was made from a trampoline stand and, a brake rotor, and a few railroad spikes.

The cross was about 3' tall and 2' wide.

The eagle was about 4' wide and 2.5 or 3' tall.

The wall art was very similar to his other wall art pieces in that it was 2' in diameter.

HOOKS HOOKS HOOKS

This is definitely VinTin's MOST requested item. I don't know if it is the affordability or usage range, but he cranks out so many of these each week. What I love most about my husband's work is the hammer marks in each piece. If you were to stop and count the marks, and think about the hammer he swings all day when he is blacksmithing, it is very fascinating!!!
