Updates!!!!

Okay, we are past the 1500 LIKES milestone on Facebook! This is awesome news! Thank you everyone for your support!!

 UPDATES:

  •  WE ARE WORKING VIGOROUSLY TO GET OUR WEBSITE (WWW.VINTINWELDING.COM) UP AND RUNNING BUT IT HAS PROVEN TO BE MORE LABOR INVOVLED THAN WE BANKED ON, SO IT MIGHT NOT BE PUBLISHED UNTIL JANUARY 2015.
  •  IF YOU HAVE NOT YET HEARD OUR GOOD NEWS, WE HAVE A NEW BABY! OUR 1969 MERCURY COUGAR SOLD TO A MAN IN NEW YORK, AND WE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT DANNY'S DREAM CAR FOR A DEAL WE COULDN'T PASS UP! BYE BYE COUGAR. WE LOVED YOU AND WE WILL MISS YOU.

HELLO '51 MERC!

  • ANOTHER PIECE OF NEWS: WE ARE EXPECTING BABY #5! :) We are just overwhelmed with how the Lord has blessed our business and our family. It is a WHOLE lot of work, but very rewarding and fun. Lord willing, our sons will be able to blacksmith as teenagers and learn the trade and many other important, invaluable skills while working alongside their Dad.
  • A BIG update that I never mentioned on the blog - but I mentioned everywhere else! We moved the shop in May! We moved from a 2 car garage to a 4200 sq foot building (that's just the main level!). For up to date pictures and announcements, follow us on Instagram (http://instagram.com/vintinwelding) and Facebook (facebook.com/vintinwelding)! Here's a few pictures of the blacksmith palace!
This is a photo of BEFORE we had a landscaping company remove 6 huge bushes that were blocking our "show room" door!

This is a photo of how it looks now, after we dug a new flower bed to help create a comfortable ambiance as you approach our "show room" ;).

Our coal bin!

Our mail room is no longer in our house, it's at the shop!

One view from the welding table...

Facing away from the back wall, looking towards the main shop door (not the show room door, but the door everyone uses right now).

Facing the anvil and forge, and newly installed power hammer, where the magic happens.

Danny, proud new owne...err, I mean renter of this beautiful building.

View from the far corner, looking toward the main door.  Natural light is certainly not an issue here!

This was when we first moved in - this is another section of the shop, where a lot of automotive parts are currently being stored.  I, Katie, am unclear as to what is happening in this room. Update later.

There you have it!  Comment on this blog post and email us at vintinwelding@gmail.com to tell us that you did - and you will be entered to win a $20 coupon off of anything in our Etsy shop!  We will draw a winner Friday, August 15, at noon!  Thanks and good luck!!!
